The center of Madrid is home to SFJ6, a 102-unit social rental housing project by MARMOLBRAVO and MADhel architects that seeks to humanize the urban scale and facilitate interaction between inhabitants. A play of openings and patios connects the dwellings with their surroundings and accommodates the communal spaces, whose emotional atmosphere has been tended to through plant elements and natural materials such as earth plaster and traditional ceramics. Parklex Prodema natural wood soffit contributes to the warm atmosphere in the entrance halls and exterior galleries while guaranteeing the sustainability, durability and resistance criteria required by the project.
