St. Mary’s Calne School library, designed by Woods Bagot, restores the space as the center of academic life while incorporating the school’s apple orchard. The faceted ceiling, evoking the spreading of tree branches, consists of triangular soffit panels custom-made by Parklex Prodema, including perforations for acoustic purposes. The technical properties of the natural wood panels allow for visual continuity from the inside to the outside.
