Increased levels of population density around the world means architecture is having to grow vertically to adapt. Tall multi-family housing is therefore increasing in popularity, even in less densely-populated areas. For this typology, we looked at high end residential works such as those of Foster & Partners.
In these types of projects the quality of the surfaces is of particular importance. In this case, the White American Oak finish was chosen in order to connect the interior surface to the soffit on the balconies. The rich texture and reticular pattern of the White American Oak complements the simplicity of the space.
