Saks Fifth Avenue, the quintessential luxury goods retailer in the big city, hosts, since the beginnings of 2019, a new restaurant designed by Philippe Starck, l’Avenue, in its iconic Manhattan building.
Inspired by vintage Parisian glamour with a contemporary twist, l’Avenue offers two unique settings for diners: The Salon and The Chalet. While The Salon, in ivory and pink tones, is a reflection on the permanence of elegance, The Chalet is a warm and welcoming retreat to meet friends, inspired by the French Alps.
Both rooms are linked by tan tones. The PPARKLEX PRODEMA NATURFLOOR-W floor in American Oak wood runs between the two environments to provide a deep-rooted beauty and character together with a technical contemporary nature, as it is an AC6-rated, high traffic resistant wood floor, with no need for subsequent maintenance apart from general cleaning and very resistant to humidity.
