The former submarine shipyard of Noblessner in Tallinn, Estonia, has been transformed into a bustling neighborhood featuring museums, art galleries, and car-free streets. Designed by Pluss Arhitektid, the residential buildings, the country’s nearest to the sea, form a cohesive ensemble with both old industrial structures and new modern apartments. The multi-material exterior facade uses Parklex Prodema siding for the wooden sections — an easy-to-install system with natural wood slats that offers high durability and resilience against seaside climatic conditions.
