At the heart of Charlotte (NC), The Pearl Innovation District emerges as a new hub for research, education, and collaboration between academia and industry. The campus revolves around two key buildings: the Howard R. Levine Center for Education and the Research I Building, connected and designed as an ecosystem for knowledge exchange and innovation in the health sciences. Inside, Parklex Prodema’s wood solutions bring warmth, comfort, and a human dimension to highly technological environments, reinforcing the connection between architecture, well-being, and learning. A project that shows how interior design can support innovation and create spaces ready for the future.
