While parquet flooring is popular in interiors, the use of wood in high-traffic environments has been limited due to its vulnerability to wear. This has led many to choose synthetic materials that compromise the authenticity and warmth of wood. However, technological advances aimed at enhancing the durability of natural wood have made it suitable for high-use spaces, ensuring longevity and compliance with strict technical standards. Below, we highlight three projects from the French studio RAAM that feature Parklex Prodema wood flooring in demanding workspaces.

Maison Palladio (Paris)

In the renovation of the Palladio Foundation headquarters, RAAM has crafted an environment that honors the architectural history with a timeless design, aligning with the previous work of architects Joseph Belmont and Jean-Michel Wilmotte. The furniture and finishes reflect a refined yet inviting aesthetic, where wood and other natural materials create a warm and elegant atmosphere, suited for meetings and exhibitions.
