The transformation of the building located at 87 rue de Richelieu in Paris reflects a clear commitment to innovation, sustainability and the evolution of contemporary workspaces. Designed by Wilmotte & Associés, the project consists of the deep refurbishment of the former Allianz headquarters, now converted into the new headquarters of the Altarea group, in the heart of the city’s 2nd arrondissement.
With more than 30,000 sqm spread over seven levels, the building has been conceived as a flexible, collaborative and user-focused environment. The architectural intervention prioritises natural light, creating bright and open workspaces organised around an “internal street” that connects different uses and encourages interaction.
The renewed façades and outdoor areas play a key role in the project’s identity. Over 2,000 sqm of landscaped terraces introduce a strong green dimension, supported by top environmental certifications such as HQE “Exceptionnel” and BREEAM “Excellent”.
In this context, PARKLEX PRODEMA contributes with high-performance natural wood solutions. Interior panels combine the warm aesthetic of real wood with advanced technical performance, enhancing energy efficiency and durability. These materials create a balanced envelope that responds to the historic Parisian context while introducing a contemporary architectural language.
The result is a building that redefines the concept of a corporate headquarters, blending architecture, technology and sustainability into an innovative workplace open to the city and ready for the future.
