Gensler

The wooden canopy at Gensler’s University of Texas Moody Center highlights a curved installation of Parklex Prodema soffit. The natural wood panels were curved on-site following a custom assembly to meet specific radii, creating a seamless transition from the exterior overhanging roof to the indoor hallways. The curved soffit diminishes direct sunlight in the concourses while diffusing natural light within the space.
