For this cultural centre, we looked at architectural examples such as the Bauhaus Collection in Alvaro Siza’s Chinese Museum of Design.

We wanted to take the stereotomic value and uniformity of these examples to create a large piece of stone architecture. Based on these criteria, we designed a robust structure that serves as a cultural space in an urban environment.

Here the Grey Ayous wood soffit extends over the public square in the form of a net, providing the project with warmth and cover.
