Overlooking the bay in Port Washington, NY, the Cliffside Residence by Narofsky Architecture integrates with its steep hillside setting. To address the challenging site conditions, the home was designed with a top-down approach and an L-shaped configuration that ensures privacy from nearby neighbors while preserving the natural stabilizing vegetation. The exterior facade is clad in Parklex Prodema natural wood panels, designed to provide excellent weather resistance without the need for maintenance. Inside, interior paneling from the same wood species has been applied to walls and ceilings, mirroring the exterior cladding installation pattern and details.
